On Saturday we went to La Mont. St Michel with the group. A fascinating attraction which is full of history, an amazing abbey which can be seen from nearly 10 miles away as you approach it.
After our visit we travelled to St Malo where we stayed for the evening and enjoyed a meal at a restaurant in the old town. (The students elected to use a fast food restaurant instead)
Sunday we travelled two hours from St Malo up to Caen and visited the http://www.memorial-caen.fr/
A chance for the group of students to understand a very important part of world history.
Thank you to our host and Leonardo funding www.erasmusplus.org.uk we were able to visit these areas of Brittany and Normandy.
