We arrived late on Monday evening at the accomodation http://gite-moncy.com/ after a long day travelling via the Eurotunnel to Calais. A drive down to Moncy from Calais which took just over four hours.
When we arrived on site Tuesday morning the group were given a tour of the Eco-Chateau site and planning meetings were put in place with the aspects of the construction activities that the students will be learning and doing over the next two weeks.
After our site induction the group of thirteen students were split into four groups and they appointed a group leader and began writing out their risk assessments and method statements for the given tasks.
