Day 8 of Eco-Chateau Renovation

We are at the last working day of the project and have completed the jointing in of the Gite, a fantastic achievement by the brickaying team.  This has allowed them as seen from previous posts to gain new skills and pick up the progress being made for the carpentry tasks in the main part of the Chateau.

 We aim to have the new joists with ceiling fixed in the eight rooms and studwork for the bathrooms completed for four of the rooms on our final day.  

 

 

The platform for the Yurt is also gathering pace and we hope to replace any existing damaged ply by the end of the day.
