On Saturday we set off at 6.30a.m to Le Mans. With a sleepy look and such an early start for most we arrived just after 10.00a.m. The traffic was against us and we did not get in the circuit until after 12.00.
On a glorious hot day we were treated to a spectacle that the group thoroughly enjoyed.
Some elected to take advantage of using the go-kart track whilst others were eager to take in the Le Man atmosphere and see what cars they could take photos of.
With the actual 24 hour race starting at 15.00 we were treated to the smell of burning rubber and fuel. Any race track enthusiast will tell you the noise of what these cars make is very defining.
