Restoring a traditional external stone wall

  Once the old stone was removed we set a line and replaced the stone with a cement, lime and sand mortar mix.  Bit like doing a jigsaw puzzle without the picture.
 We spent time also pointing in below what we repaired and have achieved a very satisfactory repair.

Well done to all those that had a go at learning this renovation technique.
